Hello everyone. It’s been a minute since I last posted on this blog of mine. I am sad to say that this is my farewell blog. Perhaps one day I will return to this blog to write about my future adventures but I wouldn’t wait on it. It was a pleasure meeting all of you, from the space engineer to the polar bear. There were too many personalities for me to keep up with, but I found it quite interesting to see how you all live in this world, as opposed to me (considering that I am actually dead in this world). I have to tell you something. I hate garlic yesterday and I still haven’t recovered. I guess this is my karma for accidentally bragging about not being able to contract the coronavirus as humans can. Anyhow, I think I will be fine but there is no certainty about this. I have only eaten garlic one other time and it was an accident when I first became a vampire. I almost never recovered. Speaking of disease and illness, the coronavirus has really picked up its spread and many schools are starting to avoid classes by shutting down schools for a short period of time. This is pretty crazy and I am not sure what to make of it. I fear that the coronavirus will kill more humans, but I am also aware that it affects the elderly and younger children more easily. Even though this is true, college students and young adults should still be taking precautions to be safe.

I am stopping my posts in order to take care of myself and do some more traveling. I suppose I could write posts from my travel locations, but finding the internet and such is not always easy when I fly from destination to destination sometimes. I suppose it is weird that I can no longer share my crazy vampire stories with you all but if you ever wish to know more about myself, do comment on my blog and I will tell you what you would like to know! I might as well tell everything I know since I’ve basically told my whole identity to you all. Sometimes being a vampire comes with harsh lifestyles, such as not being able to roam around in the sun too much and other problems, but as I’ve said before, I do love it. I think it is more important to me than anything because I am able to witness some of the craziest aspects of life and humanity, with all the years that I’ve been surviving on this planet. I do hope that I eventually get to meet all of you who I’ve interacted with and we could perhaps talk about some of the things I’ve read in your blogs. I wish the best to all of you and hope that you have more amazing adventures to come. Although I will no longer be sharing my own experiences, I look forward to seeing any more of your upcoming posts or stories.

Hello there, Josiah Talbot. I see that you have also chosen to discuss the dangers of the constantly spreading Coronavirus and how the stock market has been affected by this ordeal. I do fear that the coronavirus for humans is more fatal than for other creatures. Did you hear about that dog that caught the disease? That’s so unfortunate. I myself don’t really know how the stock market works, which is a bit stupid considering I’ve lived for so long on this planet. I should have probably educated myself about it a long time ago, but it’s honestly just something that has never truly piqued my interest. I hope that you could give me some insight into how bad the market’s been doing, considering you do work at Lockheed Martin and seem to have much more knowledge about this area than me.
I am responding particularly to your question of whether coronavirus affects us, vampires, at all. I don’t mean to sound full of it, but it really doesn’t affect vampires at all. You see vampires are already dead. The nonliving cannot be infected with something like this. It’s a weird flex, but to be honest, sometimes being dead isn’t too bad. It comes with perks like this one. Things that can humans really can’t hurt me. Anyhow, I am pretty sure koalas can be affected if dogs can. I haven’t read any blog by a koala, but they should also be taking precautions from the coronavirus.
I wonder how it feels to wear a hazmat suit and to use a respirator. It surprises me every time I get to talk to someone that I haven’t as many things as you would me to. Sure I’ve traveled everywhere, but in what situation would I ever wear a hazmat suit. Being a dead vampire also means that a respirator would serve me absolutely no purpose either. I suppose that’s alright though. I can’t be choosy for everything when I already get to experience things that most humans don’t. I also may sound privileged, coming from an unaffected body, but I do think that you are too stressed about this virus. Yes, it is super dangerous and spreading. However, I have read that the flu is more dangerous that the coronavirus. It’s killed more people and affected more people throughout all the years that I’ve been on Earth. At the same time, the coronavirus has been more constant within the last couple of months. What terrible way to start off 2020.
I truly do hope that this virus is more contained and dies down soon enough. The human race can’t live in constant fear of being infected by this virus. What way is that to live?

Hello everyone. This week I’ll be talking about the coronavirus again because its global threats have risen from “high” to “very high” according to WHO. I’ve seen in the news that it has become widespread in Italy, the European country with the most affected people. The death toll in China has risen to around 78,800, which is alarming. I know that all these sources have been saying that the spread of this disease is one of the most dangerous ever, which sounds super scary and worries me for my human friends. I hope that everyone takes the proper precautions necessary and does their best to avoid this illness. Wash your hands!
On a separate note, I would like to touch on the elections and the front running candidates. I myself cannot vote because of the struggles that it comes with, specifically involving getting around the whole social security number ordeal and my large number of past identities. I hear that Bernie Sanders has been doing particularly well in California and Texas. He stands as a possible frontrunner for the Democratic party, which puts him in large competition with Trump. If I could vote, I would vote for Bernie. I wonder what all of your political views line up with. I definitely don’t recommend sitting on the sideline during the elections and not voting. It’s one thing to not vote because you aren’t of age, but I think it’s a little silly to not vote when you have the full power to.
I think being a vampire is not good when it comes to elections and voting, because I can’t vote. Even though I have so much experience in seeing politics for the past hundred years, I won’t be able to make a contribution to the polls with my own vote, which really sucks. I should find some sort of way to work around that. I’ve honestly been trying for a while but it is actually quite hard to add a fake vote to the polls. I’ve lived many identities, but having a different social security number every time is irritating.
I must say that I have been planning a trip to France to meet this French vampire I know and he told me once that if I needed any advice about identity swapping that he could help me. I hope that my wish to vote is something that he can help me with. I wonder if he votes. Sometimes I think that the everyday vampire is not made for just sitting around. We are the supernatural. It should be our duty to help regular humans lead better lives. Choosing the right leader as president of the United States would be a big step for this cause. I hope that the upcoming elections do not have a bad outcome (you know what I mean).
Hopefully, I can figure out my voting stuff soon and you all can choose a candidate to pick for the presidency.

Hello Scott Walsh. I don’t think we’ve ever spoken before. It is nice to finally meet you.

Firstly, you mentioned that you have 38 dollars and 42 cents. I find that a bit concerning. I sure hope you are taking care of yourself. I can always lend you some money if you need. I don’t really have much to lose. Also, I myself am not rich or anything. I just have a lot of friends and connections, meaning that there are a lot of people and vampires out there looking out for me. It’s pretty complicated but long story short, I won’t be out of money any time soon.

The world is a really harsh place and I’m sure that it won’t change for the better. It’s hard to cope after losing someone, I know. It’s one of the hardest times to get through and honestly I can’t say that you will find that same light ever again after losing someone close to your heart. I’ve lost so many people that I sometimes can’t even remember all of them. I know it sounds harsh, but being a vampire comes with more than a hundred deaths lined up for people that I know. I’ve lost family members, loves, and friends.

I hold all of them very close to my heart to this very day and will always remember them. The interesting thing about human life is that just as one human leaves the world, another one is freshly brought in. I think that’s something we ought to appreciate.

All these American presidential candidates that are claiming to make big strides for environmental reasons are bogus. They do not really care about the environment and will say whatever it takes for voters to vote for them. Have you seen the Bezon Earth Fund that Jeff Bezos has put together? It’s to collect money for his own personal profit and advertisement. It’s a fund, meaning that the money will not even directly go to the environmental cause until later.

It was nice reading your blog. I like your name!
P.S. See you shortly at Roger’s shop!

Hello everyone. Welcome back to another blog post with myself, Starr Fisch. I wanted to speak about climate change and the lack of social incentive to do anything about it in today’s world. This topic came to me because I was reading about how the Antarctic temperatures have reached their highest temperature ever on record. It has reached nearly 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It is actually insanely regular temperature here in California that it’s a bit concerning that the Antarctic is having the same weather. This was recorded by a group of Brazilian scientists, meaning it was originally recorded as 19.8 degrees Celsius.
As one of the only humane vampires, I find it deeply heartbreaking that the entire world hears about situations like these and feels nothing different. Isn’t it ironic how I said “humane vampire,” considering how that is a juxtaposition? What bothers me the most is all of the celebrities that do not even bat an eye towards these issues. Those are the same people you would not trust to be vampires. They would not do any good to the world as immortal beings. I know a lot of people like this. There are a few famous people that are vampires, but I cannot tell you who they are. That would be compromising to their identity and not very nice of me, considering how I’m pretty acquainted with a plethora of vampires. Let me just tell you that all the famous vampires out there are truly in trouble once they turn older and can’t age. It’s already a struggle for the ones that are super old. They have to move far away and change their identities like me, except their life comes with the constant struggle of being called a celebrity look alike. It is comedically ironic, yet somewhat unsettling that they have to live like that.
Anyhow, coming back to the point, I think that the fact that celebrities are so money-minded would make them such terrible vampires. They would definitely be the kind to not share their wealth or do any good with it. Antarctica is supposed to be a super cold place in our minds, isn’t it? It is in my mind at least. Well, the fact that it has reached up to 68 degrees Fahrenheit is so terrible and upsetting. I can’t believe that the United States’ president genuinely thinks climate change is not existent. That is so ignorant in my opinion. Of course, climate change exists! It is happening right now for goodness sake. Antarctica isn’t even that cold anymore and Australia has been on fire for so long. If that isn’t enough proof, then I’m not sure what will convince the president. Speaking of which, I do hope that all of you who can are registered to vote. I vote and I’m over a hundred years old. Don’t ask me how it works, it’s too complicated to get started on right now, but let’s just say changing your identity is not as easy as it may seem.

Response #2: Leila Potts

Hello Leila Potts. I don’t think I’ve ever stumbled across your blog before, so it’s a pleasure to finally be reading it. I’m assuming you are a human and I think it’s integral to know that I’m a vampire. So now that we know everything that we need to know about each other, I have some comments to make on your recent blog post. I think it’s cool that you like wine tasting because I enjoy it a lot too.
I’ve noticed that you mentioned the coronavirus outbreak in China, which I also spoke about in my latest post. It’s so tragic to see all these humans dying due to these illnesses that are so deadly. I usually am unaffected by stuff like this because I’m literally dead, but it does hurt me to see humans being so vulnerable to these types of things.
I also noticed that you wrote about the sentencing of the Insys’s executives to prison due to their involvement in the Opioid Crises. It’s terrible that they went to these lengths to influence drug usage in such a detrimental and harmful way. This is another thing about humans that I don’t understand. Is it really that hard to be human? I’m a vampire and I have more compassion than these Insys people.
I’ve lived for a long time and I honestly don’t know how the Opioid Crisis could be solved at the rate that it’s been soaring. It’s so unfortunate and disheartening that the destruction of mankind is inevitably coming. It just makes me want to turn everyone into vampires so that they live on forever. However, that would come with its own set of problems and effects.
I like that you tied the justice system into your discussion. It is so heartbreaking to hear and see how the prison system and justice system never properly do what they are intended to do. However, in this case, the sentencing of the Insys executives is a good move that the system is making.
On another note, I see that you are a fellow traveler as well! It is quite nice to hear about the experiences of other travelers. I myself love traveling, although sometimes it’s not by choice. Where are some places you have been to? I know that a lot of humans say they wish to travel around a lot, but I don’t really know many that put their words into action. When I was a human, I didn’t have easy access to traveling around so easily, so I am really happy to see that people have become so technologically advanced as to make such various and plenty of means to travel by. I love traveling and have been to an uncountable number of countries and hope that in your lifetime you get to experience just as much. I see that you’ve been to many places in California. It’s a beautiful state!
I do hope that your travels bring you to more places and you have a good trip!

Hey everyone! Today I will be talking about the virus that has broken out in China and killed numerous people. Not to brag, but this virus won’t affect me. Most viruses don’t hurt me, in fact, none do, because I am technically already dead. That may sound like it sucks, but it’s actually pretty fun being dead. Nothing hurts me more than my past.
The coronavirus sounds scary, to be honest, but this type of stuff happens, especially with all these illnesses that are newly found and becoming less rare. I’ve read about this virus and how it is a respiratory illness with a number of side effects, such as fatigue and diarrhea. I hope that proper measures are taken in order to avoid this disease that has sprung in China. There seem to be about two cases of it in the United States currently, but not in California. The part of China that is affected is called Wuhan, China, and I believe it is best to warn you, humans, to steer clear of it for a little while. I haven’t had to take as many health measures as all of you for a while, because of my deadness. Do not hesitate to ask me to turn you into a vampire if you want to avoid health issues like this, but remember that being a vampire comes with huge prices. These costs include losing people in your lives, due to outliving them or them finding out what you have become after turning into one of us.
Since the coronavirus is a respiratory illness, I would assume that it is somewhat like pneumonia, which I have had in the past. I was born a long time ago. Longer than before all these cures and medicines were created for these illnesses and diseases. When I was a human, flu shots did not exist and much of my health had to be cared for in herbal and homemade recipes.
I’ve noticed that these types of remedies are making a comeback these days. I think that is pretty cool, considering how far humans have come in research in medicine and technology. The fact that they are resorting to simple medicines and techniques is somewhat fascinating. Is this considered taking steps backward or is it simply being attentive to all the possibilities of medicine?
Let me give you a quick tip. As soon as you start to feel sick, with that sore throat on the first day, drink some warm milk mixed with a spoon full of turmeric. It works. I used to do it so much before I turned into a vampire. Even though I am not a human, I do care about you all. I used to be one of you and still consider my life as a human a significant part of my life. This virus that is going around should be avoided and I just want you all to take care of yourselves, because being alive can sometimes be better than being dead.

Response #1: Josiah Talbot

Hi Josiah. I see that you have read my post about the Australian fires and I hope that you see this response. Sorry about the timing, I wish I could have replied sooner, but it has taken me a lot of thinking and piecing together of how to properly respond to you and comment on you OWN post that I have read quite a few times.

Firstly, I would like to ensure you that I do not think that vampires are purely superior to humans. I am sorry if I have offended your kind, but I simply have notices some attributes of humans over the years that do not make them very special in my eyes. The greed that can just be seen in their eyes is the main thing that bothers me, but I do not want to start with that discussion right now. I just mean to say that I believe vampires are more capable due to our powers and long lifespan (or should I say death-span since we are actually dead). Not all vampires are kind and helpful towards the world. There are numerous vampires that are actually vile and dangerous to the world, but I do believe in the good lot of them. I come from a big group of vampire friends, not only vampires, but other supernaturals as well and we all try our best to serve Earth in doing our best for it.

As per your other question about the suffocation of mankind, I do believe that even you, a human, would somewhat understand this. Does it make sense to say that humans are capable of very much, but for some reason feel the need to judge everyone so much for their actions. If one wishes to donate, then let them donate!

Anyhow, I have read about your life and have a few questions for you as well dear friend. How does it feel knowing that we may end up in the midst of another war, especially while being human? It makes me think that I might as well turn others into vampires to save their lives, rather than them being dead and lifeless. Although that may not be the most ethical of options.

I also wonder what your life must be like being a constant clockwork routine. You wake up at 6 A.M., have your daily ten hour shift, and then simply end your day with nothing new to expect the next day? Don’t you think it sounds a bit dull? Not to be rude or overstepping, but I really thing you need to loosen up, Talbot. The world may not last forever and neither will you (unless you were immortal or something). I truly hope the best for you and your work life and would love to hear more about how your job goes.

All the best,

Starr Fisch

There are so many things that I would like to speak about but the current even that I would like to speak about this time is the fires occurring in Australia. I’ve actually lived in Australia at some point in the suburban Brisbane area. It was a very nice community with many welcoming people and it hurts to see that the country is facing such impactful effects of global warming.
I’ve read that a portion of the fires have been started due to natural causes and drought, meaning that the wildfires are a direct effect of global warming, which is both unfortunate and concerning. Australia has many beautiful sights as I’ve seen in my past years, but the fact that the fires have caused such a harmful increase in smoke and pollution is not good for the country at all. As a vampire, it’s hard to be present in these situations because dying animals and people is just more blood for me to have for dinner, but I definitely try harder than other vampires to make sure that I don’t let anyone (that deserves it) die.
Seeing things like this occurring more and more around the world is very disheartening and makes me wonder why no one is doing anything more to stop anything. The world has been here for a long time and it is just weird to me that the people with money on this planet can make such a difference by contributing to causes against global warming but are simply not willing to spend their money on this cause.
As a constant traveler and explorer, it hurts to see the world falling apart over the stubbornness of mankind. This is why I’m a vampire. I hate humans. They never seem to care about the world even when they can make the largest of differences. I hope that people come together to fight problems like these. Every time I get a job, I chose to donate half of my money to causes that actually make a difference and would use the money for problems like this. That is also why I constantly relocate and have to find new places and lifestyles to learn from and learn to help in some way. As a vampire in today’s community, I feel suffocated by the way humans chose to deal with issues that are fightable, especially when they judge others based on actions that are purposeful and kind to causes that need it.
I’ve actually done quite some research and made many trips to places such as these that are harmed by fires and other natural causes. From my travels and research, I’ve noted that there are in fact several ways to contribute to these global issues. This particular issue of the fires in Australia can be combatted by donating to the Australian Red Cross and the Salvation Army Australia because these are heavily welcomed resources during times of need.

Introduction (Post #1)

Hi everyone! My name is Starr Fisch and I’m a new student. I’m constantly traveling around the world and have lived in an uncountable number of cities. The truth is that I am a vampire and I have to constantly move around so that I don’t compromise my identity. I am telling you all this upfront because I trust you and would like for you all to know me as much as I will get to know you. Every time I travel to a new place, it is to change my name and identity so that I cannot be tracked from the past and by the government.
I’ve been living for so many years now that I can no longer keep track of my age. It is just too hard to remember, especially after witnessing and seeing so much of the world for the past decades. I’ve been alive for hundreds of years and have seen how humans constantly change, from new technology to new trends rising. I was turned into a vampire by someone I trusted for a very long time. Little did I know, that they would betray me in such a serious way. Vampirism does not come easy and can bring an insane amount of misery and devastation to your life, especially when you have to watch loved ones pass away every decade or so. I hated being a vampire at first, but living as one for so long has taught me many things and I no longer hate it. In fact, I’ve learned to love it and appreciate the incredible opportunities that come with it. I take advantage of my immortality by traveling constantly, meeting new people, and trying new foods.
I love to blog and share my experiences, because it makes me feel alive (which I’m technically not). I’ve made a lot of friends as a wanderer, but have also made numerous enemies who reside all over the world. I didn’t do anything to them. They only hate me, because I am living a better life than them. My enemies are simply vampires who haven’t learned how to survive as a happy vampire.
People think that I’m allergic to garlic, and it’s true, but only because I have an allergy to it. Other vampires are generally not allergic to it. My family was a very normal group of people and they never knew who I really was. I did not want them to fear me or have to deal with my tendencies and need for blood. I faked my death as a teenager and moved far away from them so that they would never find me. I still check up on my current day family members and often visit them as a teacher or someone they wouldn’t expect to be related to.
Overall, being a vampire is hard, but I make it work. I love visiting the world and being able to see how humans have changed over time because it reminds me of how progressive this world can be.
